Amber is a PhD candidate with the Bijlsma and Van Laarhoven groups, funded by KWF. Her research topics include:

 

• identify the resistance mechanisms that contribute to poor therapy response in esophageal cancer.
• identify markers that predict rapid onset of resistance.
• target recently identified molecules that drive poor outcome.
